Joanna Toomey

I am a transplanted western New Yorker. I grew up near Buffalo and graduated with honors from Niagara University's College of Hospitality and Tourism Management. NU's college is a founding member of the international Hotel Schools of Distinction. Its location on an international border in a world renowned tourism center gave me a great start in the hospitality industry.

My move to Florida a number of years ago enabled me to expand my industry experience with various management roles in hotel hospitality and group sales. Working in bigger resorts in the wonderful Tampa Bay climate has given me first-hand experience in the transition to a new region and, specifically, to the amenities, shopping, dining and entertainment that it offers.

My constant passion has been helping individuals to achieve their lifestyle goals whether I was serving in the restaurant, hotel or tourism industries. My love for this new region made my move into the real estate profession a natural one; a marriage of the Florida outdoors lifestyle and helping individuals/families find their new perfect setting. This region has beautiful white sandy beaches along all the barrier islands with opportunities to do any kind of water sport or just sit and enjoy the view. I've also discovered that each waterfront community has its unique personality, in short, there is truly something for everyone!

When not working I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring new places to eat, hike, swim or go boating. I have become a college football fan Go Clemson Tigers! And I still root on my home team Buffalo Bills. It would be an honor for me to help you to find your new dream home or to help sell your existing home. Having lived the relocation experience I know how to reduce the stress of it all.
